When I was a kid, I used to wonder how giant multinational companies operate and own so many brands. It was the late 1900s and the internet wasn’t too common. It wasn’t possible to find what companies and brands are owned by popular brands.
Later, I realized that most of the companies and brands we know are somehow linked to other famous companies. It is more like a web of interconnected brands where a single company owns hundreds of brands and we don’t even know it.
Today, we have access to the internet and you can find the list of companies owned by a particular company easily. But we wanted to streamline this information to make it more accessible and user-friendly.
And this led to the formation of Brands Owned By.
But why should you know what brands are owned by any particular company?
When I was a child, it seemed to be fascinating and I used to imagine the giganticness of such companies. But this is more than mere fascination.
There are several reasons why someone might be interested in the ownership of a brand:
- Curiosity
- Research purpose
- Business and case study
- Ideation and learning.
Whatever the purpose, you will find data on the ownership of the companies and brands and what brands are owned by a specific company.
Our team researches and covers companies in no particular order. And we have to grow this into the single best source of brand ownership platform.
Stick around as we move towards achieving our milestone.
